Ellen Roberts

Ellen is originally from Alexandria, Virginia. She started training in ballet at age 6 at the Washington School of Ballet and fell in love with it immediately. In sixth grade she performed her first professional show as Baby Louise in Gypsy at Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA. It was there that she truly fell in love with musical theatre. For high school, she recieved a scholarship to UNCSA as a ballet major and moved away from home at 14. She eventually found her way back to musical theatre as a senior in high school, where she made the switch to Metropolitan School of the Arts in Virginia. It was here she realized her dream was to be a musical theater performer. Post high school, she moved to Nashville to join Nashville Ballet's trainee program while applying to schools for musical theater. She is now approaching graduation at the Boston Conservatory as a Musical Theatre major with a dance emphasis. Ellen feels as if she made it back to the world she feels most at home in. 

Outside of performing, you will find Ellen most likely listening to a podcast about mental health and wellness or Drag Race. She really loves trying new coffee shops more than anything, going to the movies, traveling, listening to music from old jazz to alternative folk, going on long walks, watching video essays with her sisters, or just simply eating really good food with her best friends!
